All in all, it was very fun, but the letters didn't seem to cooperate very often. Sometimes I'd have all the consonants on one side and all the vowels on the other side with horns blowing and no coins left.

And the Retry button doesn't work. Every time I clicked it, the Castle would spawn somewhere and it'd be over in (without exaggeration) five seconds or less, whether evil tiles surrounded it or not.

Thanks for the comments. The letter formula is based on how many of each letter is being used, not where they are, so luck comes into play whether the letters you need will appear near you or not. As for the retry error, I have tested a few times and have not been able to re-create what you have said. If you can PM me more detailed information about how it happened, that would be great!

"Pretty darn good."

A lot of the really popular submissions I see around here are sorely lacking in something you've got in spades: charm.

I'll admit the humor is not as good as it could have been (6/10), the voice acting was a little lacking (7/10), and the animation really wasn't great (5/10), but all in all, I loved every minute of this movie. Please make more. I will watch.

"A Flash Game Perfectly Done"

Seriously. This is now my favorite game on Newgrounds. I just can't get enough! It starts out slowly enough, then picks up the pace as you go. And the music is really cool, too.

If I were to change one thing, it would only be the randomization. Sometimes there's one game you don't get to play until you're going at 3.4 times the original speed.

I FREAKING LOVE THIS GAME!

I-shades mario world

"Well, I got 100 coins..."

Was that all there is to it? If this is a promo for an upcoming Mario-style game, it does a very good job of that. However, there are a few problems I noted.

Mario should not die when he jumps on an enemy.
Mario *should* die when he goes off a cliff.
100 coins should give you another life.
Mario jumps way too high (about 2/3 of that height oughtta do it).

But I definitely love the physics. A run feature would be good, too. Like holding Shift or something. Overall, excellent promo.

and yes, this is just a promo of the game that i am currently making. it is a lot better at the moment, like, i have toned down the jump hieght, i have put in music, 1 thing i am working on is the enimies being killed when jumped on, i know as many have said, that it may "suck" or what ever, but u know, this is one of the first games ever i am working on, so meh, seriously, lots of you people here are forgeting what this website is about, u all see this place as some random place to get angry at people for doing not 100% when u have had a good day, also, i am puting in lives, and the 100 coins thing will give u 1 live

Rotospheres - High Scores

It took a bit to get going, but it got very challenging very fast.

However, the music really grates your nerves when you're trying to concentrate on launching colored spheres. Also, there needs to be a certain range or grid system. I had two yellow spheres half a pixel apart, and they remained in play. A little too literal if you ask me. And lastly, the ball should follow physics a little bit. When you let go of an object after spinning it wildly, you'd expect it to travel in the direction it was moving at the time of release instead of going straight out (a direction perpendicular to the direction it ought to go).

But other than that, you've got an amazing imagination.

Qwerty Chronicles #1

"It's like watching paint dry. With snazzy music."

Put simply, there was no interaction, no dialogue, no humor, minimal cuteness, and absolutely no point.

In future releases of Qwerty Chronicles, you may want to consider adding some kind of action. Something, ANYTHING, besides rolling at a constant speed and with a constant expression.

The only reason I feel you even deserve one star is the art. That's ALL you have going for you.

Tetris Beta

"Not Another Tetris Game!"

Well, it was a decent attempt. However, try making the line-vanish effect a little quicker. And a little flashier. A game like Tetris can't survive on gameplay alone anymore. It needs sounds, music, and nifty graphics. Overall, the atmosphere of the game is severely lacking.

As far as putting the sound in, I believe you can attach sounds to blank keyframes. Background music would just end up on another layer.
